What happens during an EPC assessment?

Our Certified Domestic Energy Accessor (DEA) will visit your property, take measurements and look at the components in the property such as heating, lighting, windows, insulation to see how efficient your building is with Electricity and Gas usage.

A DEA has no affiliation to any utility company and is only visiting to rating the performance of your building.

An EPC made by one of our certified Assessors will:

• Fulfil the legal requirement for a Property to have an EPC for Sales or Rental tenancies

• Issue a rating from A to G of your property's energy performance which is a guide to your efficiency and environmental impact

• Provide a guide to your energy costs and potential savings with a more efficient home

• Offer guidance and Recommendations to achieve these potential savings

An EPC evaluates a property's energy efficiency, with "A" indicating the most energy efficient property and "G" indicating the least energy efficient property. Rental properties must have a rating of "E" or higher.
